Johannes and I have been together for more than three years. We met in 2016, in an opportunity I had to spend three months in Germany. One year later he came to Brazil and we officially started dating, and since then we have traveled between the two countries.

During the pandemic period, we stayed 7 months apart, which was very difficult, especially in July. Luckly it was the month we got to know the movement "Love is not Tourism".
When the German borders opened for unmaried partnerson August 10, I had already a ticket flight to Croacia for three days later. We would meet there, because it was a country which was accepting Brazilian people. However, we changed our plans, cacelled hotels and rerouted the travel to Germany as final destination.

My flight was with KLM, so I had a layover in Amsterdam and, as consequence, enter in Schengen zone there. This was the only thing which still made us nervous: the possibility of being refused in Amsterdam for the Federal Police there not recognize German new rules. Indeed, they analysed all my papers and kindly asked me to wait. In meantime they called Johannes, because his number was on the relationship statement, and asked about our relationship informations. It was the way they used to really confirm that we were a partner, and as everything was right, I was able to continue my trip to Germany and be reunited with my love!
